Stanley Fat Max wanted to launch a new hammer to the trade nationally with a $15,000 PR budget that wasn’t going to go far.
We looked beyond and developed an app that could generate PR and get tradesmen talking. To promote the new app, we reserved a small amount of media on sports radio and encouraged the DJ’s to try it, to kick things off.
the app received 10,000 downloads in the first week and increased traffic significantly to the stanley fatmax web site
the app was then used in england and america where it gained strong pr and once again increased web traffic and hammer sales
