Mauritius is a destination rarely considered by Australians for a holiday. Nor is it on the shopping list as a stopover for Australians enroute to Europe or Africa. Air Mauritius wanted to change that and increase awareness in the West Australian market. The media and advertising budget was tight, yet the challenge was to reach as many potential travellers as possible.
Radio had been popular for Air Mauritius, so we went beyond the airwaves to show off the beautiful beaches of Mauritius via distressed outdoor in Perth’s CBD and a digital media campaign aimed at Perth news and travel sites.
